The business has on and off licences, plus well established direct and online sale channels which include:

  • Direct to bottle stores.
  • Woolworths (Countdown) New Zealand.
  • Foodstuffs North Island and South Island.

Producing approximately 80,000 – 100,000 litres of beer a year under its own brands, with a brewing capacity annually of approximately 160,00 to 170,000 litres with 1 brewer. They produce and sell cans and kegs to hospitality outlets, supermarkets, directly and online through a well-presented website.

There are 9 core beer brands in the range plus a peach cider.

There are also 4 alcoholic soda’s, ready to go into production under a newly established brand, including a Lemonade, Lemon Lime and Bitters, Ginger Beer and a Lemonade Peach Ice Tea. The hard work here has all been done.

Future growth in sales is anticipated if a new owner has the working capital to expand production to meet unfulfilled demand as the brands are well recognised and highly regarded by local consumers.

Reason for Sale

  • The business suffered through the Covid period and the recent economic environment which saw staff and input costs increase. The slow to recover tourism trade affected sales to hospitality outlets and as a result of the above factors the business requires an injection of capital to retire debt and to meet working capital requirements in order to realise existing demand and future growth opportunities.

The vendor is willing to consider a structured sale for a qualified purchaser or a partial sale to an investor.

Price is by negotiation but indicatively $220,000 plus SAV (estimated to be $40,000).
